Negotiations with a local franchisee are in their final stages, reports Puls Biznesu on Monday.

The article reminds readers that well-known U.S. fast food brands like McDonald’s, Burger King, Subway, Pizza Hut, Domino’s Pizza, and KFC have long been established in Poland. Two years ago, Popeyes also joined the lineup. The only major brand missing so far was Wendy’s.

Now, the symbol of the American dream - known for its square burgers, ketchup, and fries - is preparing to take its first steps in the Polish market, according to Puls Biznesu.

This move is part of a broader strategy by Wendy’s, which plans for 70% of its new locations over the next four years to open outside the United States.
