The Teraz Polska awards, now in their 35th year, are organised by the Polish Promotional Emblem Foundation.

The programme aims to highlight excellence in production and management, and to support Polish companies in building and strengthening their brands at home and abroad.

Held under the auspices of the Polish president, the competition aims to promote top-performing products and services that stand out for their quality, innovation and functionality.

This year's award winners include 14 products, seven services and three innovations.

Polish Radio, a longtime media partner of the competition, received a special jubilee award marking the broadcaster's 100th anniversary.

Michał Lipiński, director of the Teraz Polska competition, said: "Thanks to the support of Polish Radio, the competition is widely recognised among entrepreneurs, companies and consumers. We are deeply grateful for this."

Accepting the award, Polish Radio CEO Paweł Majcher said the public broadcaster has been a proud advocate of the initiative since its inception.

"Teraz Polska is a powerful promotional platform for Polish products and services both domestically and internationally," Majcher said. "Polish Radio has always stood behind this effort."

The ceremony also featured honours from the Wybitny Polak (Outstanding Pole) programme, which aims to promote a positive image of the country and showcase the achievements of distinguished Poles at home and abroad.

This year's recipients include outstanding painter and sculptor Wojciech Siudmak, who lives and works in France, and Oscar-winning film and theatre designer Allan Starski, best known for his work on Steven Spielberg's Schindler’s List.
