There were around 784,000 people without jobs across the nation at the end of May, down by 18,700 from a month earlier, according to the government.
The state-run Statistics Poland agency (GUS) reported last month that the Polish jobless rate had dropped to 5.2 percent in April, from 5.3 percent in March.
Meanwhile, the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, estimated this month that unemployment in Poland stood at 3.3 percent in April, marking one of the lowest rates in the 27-nation bloc.
