Chinese giant selects Poland for its largest European facility

Kingfa, a global leader in eco-friendly, biodegradable plastics, has chosen western Poland as the site for its biggest manufacturing plant in Europe.

The new facility will be built on the grounds of a former Soviet-era airport near the town of Szprotawa, close to the German border.

The municipal government says the investment will create 100 jobs initially, with plans to increase employment to 500, providing local families and young people with stable work in a modern and safe environment.

Beyond production, the project is expected to stimulate the local economy by benefiting numerous suppliers and service providers.

A new Research and Development Center will also be established on site, attracting specialists, scientists, and students, and promoting innovation and education in advanced technologies across the region.
