Polish industrial production up 2.9% y/y in July: stats office

Industrial production in Poland rose 2.9 percent in July compared with the same month a year earlier, the country’s statistics office reported on Thursday.

The figure came in stronger than expected by analysts, who had forecast a 1.6-percent increase in Polish industrial production last month, state news agency PAP reported.

In month-on-month terms, Polish industrial production in July was 0.2 percent higher than in June, the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.

Meanwhile, the country's seasonally-adjusted industrial production increased by 1.1 percent in year-on-year terms in July, while going up 0.9 percent month on month, according to the state-run statistics office.

In July 2025 #SoldProductionOfIndustry was higher than at the same period of the previous year by 2.9%. Excluding the impact of seasonal factors, there was it increase by 1.1% YoY.

According to the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, Poland's seasonally-adjusted industrial production had inched down 0.2 percent in June compared with the same month in 2024.
