The latest jobless figure, released by the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency on Wednesday, was in line with an earlier estimate by the labour ministry.
There were around 830,800 people without jobs across the nation at the end of July, up from 797,000 a month earlier, according to Statistics Poland.
The statistics office reported last week that employment in Polish companies dropped by 0.9 percent in July on average in year-on-year terms.
According to the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, unemployment in Poland stood at 3.5 percent in June, marking one of the lowest rates in the 27-nation bloc.
