BALANCE Women in gamedev in Poland
According to the 2024 State of the Game Industry report, men still make up over two-thirds of game developers while twenty three percent of developers surveyed are women. At the same time, about fifty percent of gamers worldwide are women. Should it call then for hiring based on merit or also gender? BALANCE spoke to Katarzyna Grynienko, coordinator of "Girls in the Game" Program at CD Project, to find out more.
