BALANCE EU-Mercosur Deal

The European Commission on Wednesday presented EU countries with the final text of a trade deal with South American bloc of countries called Mercosur for approval. The deal is backed by a wide majority of EU countries but has been staunchly opposed by France, Italy and Poland- tune in to find out why!

The Polish Ministry of Agriculture has reiterated its opposition to the EU's free trade agreement with the Mercosur group of South American countries, saying the deal could lead to the disappearance of Polish agri-food products from the EU market.
