The recognition marks the first time a Polish designer has been featured among the most influential figures shaping the global fashion industry.

Compiled annually by The Business of Fashion since 2013, the BoF 500 highlights the 500 key personalities defining the direction of the fashion world. This year’s list also features Kim Kardashian, Yohji Yamamoto and Matthieu Blazy of Chanel.

According to The Business of Fashion, Butrym has gained international acclaim for her romantic eveningwear, with designs that draw on her Slavic heritage and blend modern sophistication with tradition.

“We are immensely proud to have been part of Magda’s educational journey,” MSKPU said in a statement. “We wish her continued success and are delighted to follow her impressive global career.”
