Organized by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), the event brought together teams of up to 10 members, aged 14 to 25, to solve complex tasks in web and mobile security, cryptography, reverse engineering and digital forensics.

The competition, held from Monday to Thursday, saw participants battle for the title of Europe’s best young hackers.

Launched in 2014 in Austria, the European Cybersecurity Challenge aims to strengthen the continent’s cybersecurity talent pool and connect top performers with industry leaders.

This year marked the first time the contest was hosted in Poland.
