South Korean cultural agency opens Warsaw office

The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) has opened a culture business center in Warsaw to promote South Korea's creative industries in Central and Eastern Europe.

KOCCA, a government agency established in 2009, supports the global development of South Korea's cultural sectors.

The Warsaw office is the agency's first in Central and Eastern Europe. It will focus on cooperation with Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Baltic states.

KOCCA opened its first overseas culture business center in France in 2019.

"Poland is a very important country, with a strong gaming industry as well as the film industry. That is why it is a strategic country for us in the CEE region," Illjoong Kim, director of KOCCA Poland, told Danuta Isler.
