The report, compiled by pro-Palestinian organisations tracking weapons flows to the Middle East, states that Nitro-Chem provides roughly 90% of TNT imported by the United States.

Materials from the Polish factory are used in bombs such as MK-84 and BLU-109, which have reportedly been deployed in Gaza.

Nitro-Chem, one of the largest TNT producers in Europe, said all its operations comply with international law and declined to comment further on the report due to the sensitive nature of its business.

Authors of the report argue that Europe’s dependence on a single TNT producer carries strategic risks, including potential shortages for NATO allies, and have called on the company and Polish authorities to reconsider exports that may contribute to military operations in Gaza.
