Users are invited to interact with the AI, actively contributing to its learning and helping it better understand the Polish language and cultural context.
Polish users invited to “feed” the country’s first AI
The name Bielik, symbolically referring to the white-tailed eagle, Poland’s national bird, serves as a patriotic emblem for the AI rather than indicating any literal connection to the species.
Developed by the SpeakLeash Foundation on supercomputers at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, Bielik.ai represents a homegrown technological effort aimed at strengthening Poland’s digital sovereignty.
By asking questions through the app, users contribute to refining the AI’s responses, enhancing its performance while simultaneously gaining a free, secure, and culturally aware tool.
Over 15 million users invited to help refine Poland’s first AI
According to Rafał Brzoska, CEO of InPost, more than 15 million users of the InPost Mobile app can take part in testing Bielik.ai.
“We believe that local technologies are key to Poland’s digital sovereignty - they allow data to be created and maintained within the country, in line with our regulations and market realities. Great projects start with small steps, and this initiative, ‘Feed the Bielik,’ is precisely such a step,” Brzoska explained.
