According to investigators, the group operated from rented detached houses in western Poland, using residential properties to conceal professional indoor cannabis plantations.

The raids were carried out simultaneously in and around Gorzów Wielkopolski, a city in western Poland and in Szczecin, the port city in north-western Poland.

Police shut down two fully equipped sites, seizing 510 cannabis plants at an advanced stage of growth and nearly 55 kilograms of dried marijuana ready for distribution.

Officers also recovered forged identity documents. One of the detainees was wanted internationally under an Interpol red notice issued by Serbian authorities.

All five suspects, aged between 24 and 34, have been placed in pre-trial detention by a court in western Poland. The case is being treated as international, and the investigation is ongoing.
