Poland’s exports in the first month of this year totalled EUR 28.5 billion, while imports were worth EUR 27.9 billion, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
It added that Poland's exports in January decreased by 5.1 percent in euro terms at current prices compared with the first month of 2025, while imports fell 8.6 percent year on year.
Poland’s largest export markets in January were Germany, the Czech Republic and France, data showed.
Germany was also the country's largest import market, followed by China and the United States, data showed.
Poland ended 2025 with a foreign trade deficit of around EUR 7.7 billion, according to Statistics Poland.
