There were around 935,800 people without jobs across the nation at the end of April, down by 14,100 from a month earlier, according to the government.
The state-run Statistics Poland agency (GUS) reported last month that the Polish jobless rate had held steady at 6.1 percent in March, unchanged from February.
Meanwhile, the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, estimated this month that unemployment in Poland had stood at 3.3 percent in March, marking the third-lowest rate in the 27-nation bloc.
