Poland among EU countries with shortest working lives: report
People entering the labour market in Poland can expect to spend an average of 36 years in employment, giving the country one of the shortest working lives in the European Union, according to a report by a Warsaw-based think tank.

The Polish Economic Institute (PIE) think tank said a person turning 15 in Poland in 2025 could expect to remain economically active for 36 years, compared with the EU average of 37.5 years.
