The latest SD Worx survey cited in Puls Biznesu “2026 HR & Payroll Pulse” analysed the responses of 5,936 employers and 16,500 employees in 16 European countries.
The study shows that 66 percent of Polish employers allow remote work. This was the second-highest figure among the 16 countries surveyed, after Norway at 70.2 percent.
The lowest rates were recorded for Croatia and Serbia at 45.1% and 45.7%, respectively.
For 43.1 percent of Polish respondents, the office is their most common workplace. While 17.5 percent indicated home is their most common workplace.
55.9 percent of Polish employers said managing and motivating remote and hybrid teams is becoming increasingly difficult.
Paulina Zasempa, responsible for employee matters at SD Worx Poland, told PB that employers are not seeking a complete return to office-based work.
“We are seeing that employers are not aiming for a complete return to the office-based model, but rather to develop rules that will allow them to make use of the advantages of both solutions,” Zasempa said.
