Poland working on its own COVID-19 vaccine
Despite a more or less steady inflow of vaccines from the European Union, Poland is working on its own COVID-19 drug. Hefty government grants have been earmarked for projects at various research centres across the country.

“I believe that every such effort is vital in order to speed up inoculation and mass-produce vaccines,” said Prof. Tomasz Ciach, rector of the Warsaw University of Technology.
He added: “Sadly, more such pandemics are likely.”
