The allocation includes PLN 398 million in funding for Poland's Clean Air Program, addressing a backlog of pending grants and providing subsidies for residents across the country.
Pełczyńska-Nałęcz highlighted the significance of the funds, emphasizing their impact on improving air quality and supporting thousands of households.
"This is money for subsidies for thousands of people across Poland," she said.
The Clean Air Program, with a budget of PLN 103 billion, stands as the largest anti-smog initiative in Poland. It offers financial assistance to owners of single-family homes, enabling them to replace environmentally unsustainable heat sources and enhance building energy efficiency through measures such as insulation.
In addition to the Clean Air Program, the disbursement includes PLN 25 million to enhance the resilience of the agri-food sector, PLN 33 million for thermo-modernization of housing, and PLN 1.3 million for the creation of new nurseries.
