Food delivery services are becoming increasingly popular among Poles at the expense of eating out, according to the "HoReCa Market in Poland 2024" report by PMR Market Experts.
While restaurants still constitute the largest part of the sector, the popularity of food service venues is expected to gradually decline among consumers in the coming years in favor of food delivery.
A positive signal for this industry is that the hotel segment is experiencing fast growth and returning to pre-pandemic levels, the company said.
Key factors driving changes in the market include consumer preferences and the increasing convenience of various catering services, along with the overall development of the tourism industry, according to PMR Market Experts.
