The latest jobless figure is in line with an earlier estimate by the labour ministry.
There were around 782,800 people without jobs across the nation at the end of May, down from 802,700 a month earlier, according to the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency.
The statistics office reported earlier this week that employment in Polish companies dropped by 0.8 percent in May on average in year-on-year terms.
According to the European Union's Eurostat statistics agency, which uses a different methodology, unemployment in Poland stood at 3.3 percent in April, marking one of the lowest rates in the 27-nation bloc.
