The discovery is being described as one of the largest and most sophisticated drug operations in Schleswig-Holstein, the northernmost state of Germany.
Huge stash of chemicals and designer drugs found
Investigators found over 500 chemical canisters and extensive container structures inside the property, which had been converted into a professional narcotics production facility.
The lab primarily produced 3-Chloromethcathinone and 4-Chloromethcathinone, so-called “designer drugs” often used as substitutes for illegal substances such as MDMA, amphetamines, or mephedrone.
Two Polish nationals, Łukasz N., 44, and Maciej W., 32, were arrested and placed in pre-trial detention. Senior prosecutor Michael Bimler confirmed that the men are facing formal charges.

From suburban home to "Breaking Bad" lab
Police described the operation as significant due to the size and sophistication of the lab, which transformed a typical family home into a fully operational drug production site.
Authorities have drawn direct comparisons to the fictional meth labs featured in the TV series Breaking Bad.

Investigators are also looking into whether the drugs were intended for domestic distribution or export. Further details are expected as the investigation continues.
