According to the Gdansk.pl website, onshore construction in the city’s Górki Zachodnie district is well advanced, while preparations are underway for the offshore phase, scheduled to start in spring 2026.

The project includes a three-kilometre subsea pipeline linking the terminal to Poland’s national gas grid.

Dredging work in the Gulf of Gdańsk has been completed, paving the way for the next stage of offshore construction.

A floating regasification vessel being built in South Korea is due to arrive in late 2027.

Once finished, the terminal is expected to strengthen Poland’s energy security and further diversify its gas import routes.
