EU agrees third tranche of recovery funds for Poland

EU member states have agreed to release the third tranche of funds under Poland’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO), amounting to €6.2 billion (around 26 billion złoty), Poland’s Radio Brussels correspondent Beata Płomecka reports.

The decision, made on Monday, 17 November 2025, completes the approval process by EU countries, leaving only final confirmation by the European Commission before the money can be transferred to Warsaw.

Recent approvals from two EU committees had already cleared the way, and the Commission’s preliminary assessment at the end of October was positive.

The funds are intended to support projects in sectors including education, digital development, clean energy, and transport.
