The blaze broke out shortly before 11 p.m. near regional road 111, in an area of open fields close to the Baltic coast.
Witnesses told the portal that a “massive bang” was heard moments before flames engulfed the top section of the turbine, including the nacelle and parts of the rotor blades.
Fire crews from several nearby municipalities were dispatched to the scene, along with police units who secured the road and cordoned off the surrounding area.
Emergency services monitored the fire from a distance due to the risk of burning debris falling from the structure - a standard procedure in such incidents.
The turbine, located closest to the main road, illuminated the surrounding fields as the fire spread.
No injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze remains unknown, and authorities have not yet provided further details.
Local fire crews from Skoszewo, Wolin and Międzyzdroje took part in the response.
