Polish industrial production up 7.6% y/y in June: stats office

Industrial production in Poland rose 7.6 percent in June compared with the same month a year earlier, the country’s statistics office has said.

The figure came in better than expected by analysts, who had forecast a 7.2-percent increase in Polish industrial production last month, state news agency PAP reported.

In month-on-month terms, Polish industrial production in June was 2 percent higher than in May, the Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.

Meanwhile, the country's seasonally-adjusted industrial production went up by 5.5 percent in year-on-year terms in June, while rising 0.1 percent month on month, according to the state-run statistics office.

Commenting on the figures, Prime Minister Donald Tusk described 2026 as a "year of acceleration" for the Polish economy.

"Record growth in industrial and construction output! Investment, European funds, bringing assets back under Polish ownership, confidence in Poland – it is all working," he wrote on X.
