After decades of catching up with Western Europe, Poland now wants to turn its economic gains into a permanent seat in the G20, the forum that brings together the world's leading economies to discuss global challenges.

That question was at the heart of a conference titled "Poland, the World's 20th-Largest Economy: Opportunities and Challenges for the Next Decade," held at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) on Tuesday.
