The event was organized by the American Institute of Polish Culture under the auspices of the Ambassador of Poland.

During the ball, the institute awarded former Polish NBA player Marcin Gortat and NASA engineer Artur Chmielewski its special prizes for promoting Poland in the US.

The 60 Million Congress aims to integrate and connect professionals, executives and business leaders linked to Poland and Polish communities internationally.

The name of the event refers to the estimated overall number of Poles living in Poland and elsewhere in the world.
