Brexit: Why it happened
Initially scheduled for March 2019, Brexit was postponed several times until the British Parliament formed after the victory of Boris Johnson’s Conservatives in early elections finally approved the Withdrawal Agreement Bill, which set January 31 as the day of the divorce.
