Created in 2017 the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange or NAWA was set up to coordinate state activities aimed at internationalization of Polish academic and research institutions. The mission of NAWA is to foster the development of Poland in the area of science and higher education. Since then it has offered many projects addressed to both Poles and foreigners to not only spread the Polish scientific thought but also prevent the country's brain drain.
