Assistance and advice will be offered by courts, prosecutors’ offices, police stations and non-governmental organisations throughout the country from Monday, which is European Day for Victims of Crime.
Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski said that thousands of people in Poland need such help.
A list of centres providing assistance is available on the government funduszsprawiedliwosci.gov.pl website.
Meanwhile, the office of Poland’s Children’s Ombudsman has launched additional support on a special hotline for young people with problems.
