It shared the news on Twitter, saying the shipment was another delivery for that country.

“Together we are fighting the coronavirus pandemic around the world,” the Polish foreign ministry tweeted.

Earlier this month Poland provided Laos with 138,000 vaccine doses, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Laos has asked the international community for help amid record levels of daily COVID-19 cases, according to the Polish foreign ministry.

Poland’s vaccine reserves are sufficient to satisfy domestic demand and assist other countries in need, officials said.

The country has previously delivered COVID-19 jabs to Egypt, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kenya, Ukraine, Australia, Norway, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bangladesh, Rwanda and the Philippines, among other recipients, the PAP news agency reported, citing the foreign ministry in Warsaw.
