Public health authorities said that the daily number of COVID-19 vaccinations across the country totaled 236,031 and that 17,139 adverse reactions had been reported among those who received the jabs by Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, a total of 743,048 doses have been wasted in the rollout, according to the Polish health ministry.
As of Thursday, Poland, a country of around 38 million, had injected around 21.95 million first doses of COVID-19 vaccines, while more than 21.37 million people had been fully inoculated, health ministry data showed.
The tally includes two-dose vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca as well as Johnson & Johnson's one-shot vaccine.
The European Commission last month granted conditional marketing approval to the Nuvaxovid COVID‑19 vaccine developed by Novavax, the fifth COVID-19 vaccine authorised for use in adults across the European Union.

By Thursday, a total of 8,005,749 booster shots had been administered, government data showed.
