The Science Picnic of Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre is the largest outdoor event of its kind in Europe. The 2025 edition of the event was held at the "PGE Narodowy" national stadium in Warsaw on Saturday - and despite the fact that the conditions were quite chilly, thousands of visitors flocked to the picnic's ground from the early hours.

The main stage and as many as 185 exhibitors' stands awaited - and the most ardent science enthusiasts could take part in a whopping 690 scientific experiments throughout the day.

It is also worth mentioning that to boost the program - Polish Radio External Service's English Section facilitated the Warsaw University of Technology's Scientific Club rocket-oriented presentation at the Polish Radio's scene.
