In its analysis of the top 30 countries on the 2023 Women, Peace and Security Index, Wethrift ranked Poland first with a score of 99.59.

The country stood out for its strong safety rating—61.97 for walking alone at night—and low daily costs, including an average of USD 7.37 for food and USD 1.14 for transportation.

The study also highlighted Poland’s cultural richness, positioning it as both a safe and engaging option for women travelling alone.

"As more women plan solo vacations, destinations that balance safety, affordability and authentic experiences will likely see increasing tourism from this growing demographic," said Nick Drewe, CEO and trends expert at Wethrift.

"Poland’s impressive combination of affordability and safety creates a welcoming environment for solo female travellers," he added.

Wethrift is an online platform that helps users find coupon codes and discounts for a wide range of online stores.
