The event in the city's Południowy Park will begin at noon and is part of a global initiative to highlight the plight of animals and advocate for their rights.

Organisers say the gathering will feature speeches by animal rights activists, along with artistic performances and educational activities.

The event aims to draw attention to the exploitation and killing of animals for human benefit and promote a vegan lifestyle.

A special programme will be offered for children and youth through the "Academy of Friends of All Animals," which promotes empathy and animal education, according to co-organiser Nikola Dziedzic.

Activities will include lectures and workshops.

The event is free and open to all.
