The figure comes from research commissioned by the Polish Chamber of Tourism and refers to adults aged 18 to 65.
"This marks an increase of as much as five percentage points compared to last year," the organization's spokesperson Katarzyna Turosieńska said in an interview with Polish Radio.
Domestic travel continues to dominate, with 66 percent of respondents opting to stay in Poland, while 28 percent plan trips abroad.
Within Poland, the Baltic Sea coast, mountain regions and lake districts remain the most sought-after destinations. Major cities with strong cultural offerings are also gaining in popularity.
Among foreign destinations, Turkey, Greece and Spain top the list of favourites for Polish holidaymakers.
Experts warn that June may be the last chance to book affordable holidays.
"There are practically no last-minute deals left during peak season," Turosieńska said.
