Bosacki, a former ambassador to Canada and spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, recently returned to parliament and currently serves as deputy chair of the Pegasus inquiry committee. His appointment comes amid broader leadership changes within the ministry, though Sikorski clarified that these are not aimed at reducing the number of posts.
“There were seven deputy ministers, now there are six,” he said in an interview with TVN24. Sikorski also hinted that other ministries may face reductions due to what he called a “record number of constitutional ministers,” suggesting this is part of a midterm government reshuffle.
As announced by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday afternoon, Minister Radosław Sikorski presented MP Marcin Bosacki with his appointment as Secretary of State at tne MFA. He will replace Jakub Wiśniewski in the ministry's leadership.
