Five-day search underway in southern Poland for suspect in family massacre near Limanowa
Officials have warned that anyone hiding the suspect or aiding his escape could face up to five years in prison.
The local police urged the public through social media not to spread unverified information that might cause unnecessary alarm during an already tense situation.
Earlier reports that a list of targeted individuals was found at Duda’s home were denied by the authorities.
The suspect had previously been charged with domestic abuse and was under a court order prohibiting contact with his family members.
Police intensify manhunt using drones and thermal imaging
The large-scale manhunt involves various security forces, including counter-terrorism units, fire services, border guards, and the military. Search efforts utilize tracking dogs, Black Hawk helicopters, drones, and a Bayraktar drone operated by the Ministry of Defence.

Duda’s abandoned car was discovered near a forest, and police have issued a warning to avoid entering nearby woodland areas. Thermal imaging is being used in the search, and anyone in the forest could be mistaken for the fugitive.
Authorities have also set up an anonymous hotline (478358690) for any information about the suspect’s whereabouts.

UPDATE: Polish police offer reward for information leading to Duda's arrest
