Investigators say Duda fatally shot his 26-year-old daughter and 31-year-old son-in-law, and injured his mother-in-law in the village of Stara Wieś near the town of Limanowa on Friday.

Authorities launched a massive manhunt after the killings, involving hundreds of officers, including counterterrorism units, as well as firefighters, border guards and army personnel.

Earlier on Tuesday, police had offered a reward of PLN 50,000 (EUR 11,700) for information leading to the suspect’s capture.
