The ceremony, attended by around 50 guests—mostly family and close friends—took place as the president’s second term nears its end.

Although no official information was released publicly, the head of the President's Office, Małgorzata Paprocka, confirmed the event in an interview with a tabloid.

Paprocka also responded to widespread social media claims that taxpayers’ money was used to fund the wedding, which took place just days before the end of his second term (with the new president scheduled to be sworn in on August 6).

“All costs were covered by the president from private funds. Any suggestions otherwise are false,” Paprocka stressed.

“The Palace is not only a representative venue but also the home of the president and his family, so such a celebration should come as no surprise,” she added.

Kinga Duda, Andrzej Duda’s only daughter, is a trained lawyer and will turn 30 this year. Her fiancé, Mateusz, 34, holds a doctorate in law and is a graduate of the prestigious University of Cambridge.
