Jacek Dobrzyński, press spokesman for Tomasz Siemoniak, Poland’s Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, announced on Monday that charges have been filed against the Ukrainian citizen, Kristina S.

The package was detected and secured in a courier company’s warehouse in the Łódź region, located in central Poland.

The investigation was conducted by Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW) under the supervision of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Katowice. Findings indicate that Kristina S. acted together with three men — one Ukrainian and two Russian nationals. Two of the suspects have been placed in pre-trial detention, while proceedings against the others are ongoing.

Kristina S. faces up to eight years in prison for creating a direct danger of explosion.
