Vietnam’s ambassador Ha Hoang Hai announced the change on social media, writing: “It’s official! From August 15, 2025, tourists from Poland can enter Vietnam for up to 45 days without a visa, with no additional conditions. Welcome!”
Poland is among 12 countries named by the Vietnamese government on Aug. 8—Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland. The rules take effect one week after publication.
Previously, travelers from Poland—whether with tour operators, independently, or on business—were required to obtain visas. From Friday, no special permit will be needed for stays up to 45 days.
