An IBRiS poll asked: “In your view, could the incursion of Russian drones over Poland have been a mistake?”

Overall, 81.7% disagreed with that explanation (46.6% “definitely not,” 35.1% “rather not”). 10.6% agreed (2.4% “definitely,” 8.2% “rather”), while 7.7% were undecided.

The question followed comments by U.S. President Donald Trump suggesting the incident might have been an error.

By party preference, willingness to call the incursion a mistake was limited. “Yes” responses were 18% among far-right Confederation voters (with 67% “no”), 17% for ruling liberal Civic Coalition (81% “no”), and 17% for New Left (93% “no”).

Among centrist Third Way supporters, 10% said “yes” and 86% “no.” Conservative Law and Justice voters were the most skeptical: 4% “yes” and 92% “no.”

The remainder in each group were undecided.
