About half an hour after takeoff, the plane had to turn back to Warsaw’s Chopin Airport due to a technical malfunction.

According to radio broadcaster RMF FM, the aircraft was most likely struck by a bird.

Journalists confirmed that approximately 150 passengers were on board the flight from Poland to Spain.

Despite the safe landing and the cancellation of the lowest-level alert initially triggered by the malfunction, passengers were still waiting at Warsaw airport around 11 a.m. to continue their journey.
