A Pole with a multicultural background, he defies easy categorization. His journey has taken him through the United States, Switzerland, Vietnam, China and Malaysia.

Today, Collin calls Singapore home, but he says Poland has always been his "safe cocoon," a place of comfort and belonging.

His attachment to Polish traditions and roots was shaped in the southern town of Nowy Targ and in the capital Warsaw.

In Singapore, he is raising his children in three languages, founded a Polish school and helped establish the country’s Chopin Society.

Collin sat down with Polish Radio's Joachim Ciecierski to discuss what life is like for a Pole on the other side of the world—and whether Singapore has truly become his home.
