Investigators estimate that the gang could have distributed at least 2,5 tons of various narcotis across the country. The operation targeted the group over several months, uncovering an organized network supplying drugs nationwide.
The first major arrests occured late last year, when police seized over 22 kg of mephedrone, nearly 4 kg of marijuana, as well as hashish, MDMA tablets, and ketamine from one suspect, who was charged with participation in an organized criminal group and possession of large quantities of drugs.
In early July, authorities arrested a 30-year-old linked to the gang, finding 3 kg of cocaine in his apartment.
In September, CBŚP and Warsaw Police conducted another raid, detaining six people, including a suspect believed to be leading the entire operation.
Prosecutors charged the suspects with participation in an organized criminal group, while the alleged leader faced additional charges of directing the group.
In total, nine suspects have now been charged with 14 offenses, and all remain in custody.
Real estate valued at nearly 3 million PLN (705,540 EUR) has been seized in preparation for potential fines in compensation.
The case remains ongoing, and further arrsts are expected as investigators continue to dismantle the gang criminal network.
