The protest began with a rally at Charles de Gaulle Roundabout before moving toward the Israeli embassy. Participants demanded an arms embargo on Israel and a tougher political stance from the Polish authorities. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags, held banners calling for an end to the conflict, and chanted slogans of solidarity.

Addressing the crowd, Mahmoud Khalifa, the Palestinian ambassador to Poland, said that the temporary ceasefire in Gaza represented only a partial success.

Ewa Jasiewicz, a Polish-born journalist with British citizenship and a member of the Sumud Flotilla - a humanitarian mission to Gaza that was recently detained - spoke about the plight of more than 11,000 Palestinians held in 30 Israeli prisons.
Fayez Afana, a Palestinian who has lived in Poland for 35 years, told Polish Radio about his sister’s living conditions in Gaza, where she has been living in tents near the coast for the past year and a half.

Similar demonstrations were held on the same day in Kraków (southern Poland), Poznań (western Poland), and Wrocław (southwestern Poland), organized by the Global Movement to Gaza Poland.
