Around 184,100 housing units were completed nationwide between the start of January and the end of November, the state-run Statistics Poland (GUS) agency said.
It added that the number of dwellings under construction, at around 849,900 as of the end of last month, was 0.8 percent higher than a year earlier.
Meanwhile, overall output in Poland’s construction-and-assembly sector rose 0.1 percent in November in year-on-year terms, while decreasing by 0.7 percent month on month, the state-run statistics agency also reported.
Builders completed around 200,400 new homes in Poland last year, a decrease of 9.4 percent from 2023, according to Statistics Poland.
At the end of 2024, Poland had about 16 million dwellings, up 1.2 percent from a year earlier, national statistics office data show.
